Then just one day should be good. It doesn't even matter which one. And I've been okay, just trying to keep myself busy so I don't think about things too much. I've gotten really good at gardening. What about you?
There has seriously been like nothing to do, and no one else was bothering to look after Mrs. Guthrie's garden. I just didn't want to see it die. Thankfully I haven't killed it yet. Sam's going to help me plant some flowers for my mom in it.
That's real sweet, actually. I know Sam was doing a lot of garden work back home on the island, too, so I bet it'll look good in the long run.
Maybe I should try it. [snorts amusedly] Flying's good for feeling a bit refreshed, but I've still got a lot more time to work things out. Quiet's a good start, though; there's no reason for me to be getting into fights everyday, you know?
I can't stay out here forever, though. I figure I'll have to be back in town by the end of the month at the latest if I want my businesses to stay alive.
Nah, not permanently. It's not so much the bar that I'm worried about, but the office. They can only cover my presence in board room meetings for so long, unfortunately.
She needs music so she can shine, but I'm sure she needs you to be okay just as much. Not that I don't like want you to come home. I just don't want you to rush it.
I know. It's just hard not to think about it when you've got someone else involved in the equation, you know? Love's about making sacrifices, sure, but I'm not about to have her give up what she loves. Her ex-husband already did that, and she told me how miserable it made her.
I won't make any rushed decisions about it, but I still have to keep it in mind.

Is it helping, all the flying and quiet?
